Our service is bespoke and versatile and as such we are able to book your accommodation in a variety of ways to get you the best value for your money.
 
 We also offer a selection of services that others often
don't or can't, and are likely different from any other agency
you will have used before.

  • Breakfast 'on the house'. If you book hotel or resort accommodation through us, breakfast will be included on 'room only' rates*. At anything from £20-£50+ per person per night, breakfast can easily add between 10 and 20% to your room rate, especially when families are sharing rooms. 

  • Our partnerships with the many of the world's leading hotel brands give Blue Lagoon clients access to a wealth of exclusive benefits including: complimentary breakfast, priority room upgrades, early check in and late check out, special rates (including free nights), welcome amenities and other offers available only to luxury travel agents.   • It pays to be well connected. Whenever you are booked with our partner hotels and brands, the senior team at the hotel will be made aware as soon as the booking is confirmed and they will be reminded a few days before your arrival so that you are at the top of the queue for upgrades or best available rooms in category, early check ins and so on. 

  • We have access to wholesale and discounted rates in the world's top resort destinations such as the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, the UAE, Mexico and the Caribbean.

  • We work with many of the world's best destination management companies who can create amazing itineraries in amazing locations - without your having to pay the premium many tour operators charge for similar services. 

  • We offer an independent, fee based service. We help you find the best hotels and resorts for your trips and then look for the optimal way to book them for you - i.e. not prioritizing the properties or booking channels that pay the highest commissions. 

  • Our network of contacts can often secure accommodation at hotels where rooms are not publicly available or are showing as sold out. Additionally we are often able to secure guaranteed connecting rooms which most properties won't usually guarantee before arrival. 

  • We can arrange your airport to hotel transfers as well as putting you in touch with concierge and other services at your chosen hotel or resort. We will reconfirm any transfers we book at your request a day or two before your arrival. 

  • We can help resolve any issues or complaints you have directly with the hotels or resorts to avoid unnecessary confrontation and to avoid your wasting precious holiday time.

  • You will always speak to the same person at Blue Lagoon Travel when we organize your trips. 

  • We can assist with rescuing your holiday / travel plans if things go wrong, which they inevitably do from time to time. 

  • We answer emails promptly. We return calls promptly. We make arrangements for you efficiently and in a timely manner. 

  • We will keep deposits for your accommodation to a minimum (ideally zero) and paid as close to departure as possible. Usually your rate will be pay on departure.

  • We don't 'sell' accommodation - you will always pay the hotel (or destination management company or any other intermediary) or airline directly.

  • When you pay your hotel bill we can help you choose the right credit card to maximize air miles or other points earned, to minimize or avoid the usual 2-3%+ foreign exchange fees or both.
